My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

When I think there it exists...
My image comes into existence when I think there it exists - peaceful is the life that is aware of its existence and is not lost in it. (Verse No. 52) 有りと見て有るこそおのが姿なれ 有りて迷はぬ身こそ安けれ (お歌第52号)
