My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

Glad about everything!
Gladness and sadness, both are the state of the same mind; then why don't we think glad about everything? (Verse No. 87) 嬉しきもかなしきもまた心なり みな嬉しきと思はざるかな （お歌第87号）
