My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

The origin of heart is one
Appearance does vary according to each person but the origin of heart is one. (Verse No. 166) 姿こそみなそれぞれにかはれども 心のもとは一つなるらむ （お歌第166号）
