My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

The heart of heaven and earth is my own heart
The heart of heaven and earth is my own heart. Never think that there is any other heart! (Verse 19) 天つちの心はおのが心なり ほかに心の有りと思ふな （お歌第19号）
