My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

Let things that are as they are
How rare and precious are those who let the things that are as they are and nurture the things that are not. (Gobun No. 88) 有る物はあるにまかせて無き物を 養ふ人ぞありがたきかな (御文第88号)
