My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

Appearance of harvests
There are many springs that flowers bloom but bring no fruits. How magnificent is the autumn's appearance that brings harvests when the time is ripe! (Verse No. 159) 花咲きて実らぬ春のおほかりき 時きてみのる秋のよそほい (お歌第159号)
