My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

A sin is made when...
A sin is made when a man thinks as if any thing were of his own creation even though everything is of the heaven. (Verse No. 164) 何事も天のものにてあるものを わがもの顔でつくる罪とが (お歌第164号)
