My translation of poems by Kurozumi Munetada (1780-1850), a holy man of Japan who taught the way of the Heaven-illuminating Goddess and healed many. The members of Shinto Order of Kurozumikyo still strive to live up to Munetada's teachings of positive way of life.

Heaven Never Permits This
In distress one may miss gods Yet may drive them away when saved - The Heaven never permits this! Be on alert!
